3 colours to watch out for this winter

We’ve had over 50 years experiencing what it’s like to be a part of the garment industry. So while it may seem strange to be discussing winter trends at this time of year, we’re actually right on schedule. Most designers are putting together their winter collections (if they haven’t already) and with typical British weather, who can blame us for thinking ahead to winter?

After raiding Pinterest and reading every fashion magazine we can get our hands on, we’ve found three gorgeous colours to get excited about this winter:

Taupe
Taupe may be a timeless shade that never goes out of style, but it’s particularly suited to knitwear and boots, meaning it’s a colour to get excited about when winter rolls back around. It featured heavily in Valentino’s autumn collection and is a favourite for makeup and nail colours too.

Dusky pink
More ‘grown up’ than pastels, dusky pink invaded the high street this year, and the rosy hue is here to stay over winter. You’ll see campaign models wrapped up warm in a statement coat or making an even bigger statement with bubblegum hair.

Grey
Whether it’s lifestyle bloggers’ favourite slate grey or in a lighter shade reminiscent of cloudy days, grey is sure to form a huge part of your winter collection. Update grey for 2016 and team it with a textured material: think linen, wool or ceramics for the home.
