A little inspiration for your AW17 collection
By: Luke
Mid-summer is normally the time when designers get ahead on their winter collection. But when you’re surrounded by flip-flops, beach hats and swimwear, it can be hard to think about chunky knits and statement coats.
To make it easier to get into a creative flow, we’ve scoured our favourite blogs and magazines for three trends that are sure to make your winter collection a hit. All together now – let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Winter white
This season, designers such as Louis Vuitton are clearly dreaming of a white Christmas. Follow in the footstep of Miu Miu and mix up textures for snowy shades with extra umph.
Space age
Chanel has captured our imagination with an intergalactic take on metallics. This update is a great way to add a bit of shine to a festive collection, without heaps of sequins and glitter.
Red alert
We’re not talking about Santa’s suit… see red for AW17 and follow in the footsteps of Max Mara. The fashion house created a stir when the team sent model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid down the catwalk in a letter-box red, colour block ensemble.
The perfect finishing touch
Looking to elevate your collection? Whether you’re mad about metallics or fancy adding a twist to classic white, we can create labels to match using our Pantone system for that extra-special, professional finish.
