The wearable trends from London Fashion Week Men’s you NEED to know about

By: Luke

Put your scissors down and step away from the mannequin. London Fashion Week Men’s has wrapped. Your new season collection should follow these rules:

There’s no harm in neon

Don’t let gym wear designers have all the fun with fluorescent colours! Make like J.W. Anderson and Assembly New York and get brave with colour. A statement jacket, scarf or sneakers can all benefit from a pop of neon.

Keep those collars high

Roll necks are fast becoming a wardrobe staple. Photographing your look book? Style them under a blazer or pair them with casual trousers for an easy-to-wear outfit. Dapper designers like Oliver Spencer style their garments with roll necks season after season.

Perfect your puffer jackets

Keep your customers cosy during AW/17 and include puffer coats in your next collection. Last week big name brands like Topman included Michelin Man style coats on their catwalk. And newcomer Craig Green has become synonymous with the snug garment.

Tuck in those tops

Okay so this is more of a styling tip for when you’re dressing models for your show, but there’s no harm in taking inspiration from menswear heavyweights like Liam Hodges.
Tucking in all the tops on your collection may take your customers back to their school days or make them feel like they’re off on an awesome ‘80s adventure, like the kids from Stranger Things.

Which is every man’s dream, right?
