Meet the team

Pete – Director

I’m a time served weaver with over 36 years experience in the narrow fabric weaving industry,

I have worked for some of the largest weaving companies here in the UK, starting as a weaving technician at Lilly’s narrow fabrics in the late 70’s and with various career moves and promotions finishing as a Production Director at a branch of then the Charnwood Elastic Group. GB Labels was founded along with GB Nametapes, in 2004

I’ve been married to Donna for 28yrs, have two sons Luke & Jason that have now joined GB Labels after having successfully completing their own career paths. Outside of work I’m a Karate Black Belt (4th Dan) and ran my own club for over 10 years.

Football, Golf, F1 and spending down time socialising with family and friends are also important to me.

Donna – Accounts Director

After spending several years in the weaving trade, working on narrow fabric looms, I then went into teaching at Green Hill School at HLTA level, specialising in Humanities. I then went on to gain office and accounting qualifications in Intuit Quickbooks and Sage and joined G.B. Labels LTD, and now look after the company accounts.

I enjoy reading, swimming, walking and socialising with friends and family.

Luke – New business manager

Hi, I’m Luke, and I live in Derby with my English Bull Terrier, Diesel. Currently working for GB Labels as a new business specialist, handling all new customer accounts

I was born in Derby but moved to Pembrokeshire in South West Wales when I was 14 and studied Architectural Design at UWIC. Having moved back to Derby I worked in various direct sales positions in Derby and Nottingham before joining GB Labels.

In my spare time I’m a 1st Dan Black Belt in Wadoryu Karate and possibly the shortest goalkeeper in history.

Jason – Sales Manager

I started my career as a Jaguar and Land Rovermechanic in South West Wales, where I completed my apprenticeship before moving back to Derby and starting my sales career in the security industry.

I joined the family business at GB Labels, as Sales Manager dealing with all current client accounts.

I have also helped moved the company into the new age of social media dealing with the businesses Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

My interests are golfing, squash, Poker and I’m a huge fan of DCFC.

Jess – Graphic Designer

Originally from Burton-On-trent, I now live in Derby working for GB Labels as a graphic design specialist after graduating from Burton College. My main role is to help with the design process of the garment labels ready for sampling and manufacture.

In my spare time I like to read, Listen to music and when I can get to see friends and family.
