Advice To Help You Get It Right

Dashes Graphic

Why Labelling And Finishing Matters

The label in a garment is one of the first things a customer looks at. Would you want your labels to let your brand down? You’ve spent a lot of time and effort to get your design and production right. Don’t spoil it by skimping on the finishing touches. A unique, custom, beautifully finished woven label can make your products stand out from the competition.

How We Can Help

We help design the label, and give advice on the type of label that will meet your needs i.e. Dimensions, Fold, Weave, Colours.

We will suggest alternative options if a label would not be the correct product for their intended use.

Questions And Answers

Can You Help With Design?

We help customers with design, whatever stage they are at. We can:

  • Design your artwork from scratch (charges may apply)
  • Design artwork from your drawing or sketch (charges may apply)
  • Help adapt your logo so it looks right in weave or fabric
  • Use your existing artwork if it will give a good outcome

If you need design help or are not sure your current artwork is exactly right, talk to us and we’ll work with you to get a great design

What Kind Of Fold Do I Need?

Most mainstream women’s fashion garments use an end fold because it is quick and simple. We offer a range of other folds and options depending on your garment and personal choice. The best way to get your fold decision right is to talk to us and make use of our expertise with folds.

How Many Colours Can You Do On A Label?

Most clients are happy with no more than 1-3 colours plus the base colour of the fabric. We prefer no more than 6 colours but may go up to 8 in some circumstances. More colours on a label means more time in machining, which must be reflected in cost. If you’re unsure about how many colours you want or need, talk to us to find out how many colours will be best for your design.

Can You Speed Up The Delivery Process?

Weaving is a craft process and always has a degree of unpredictability. We will always do our best to get your products to you as quickly as possible, but we will not take shortcuts – we must take the time to get your order right. Nobody wants 5,000 of a product that can’t be used. If you have short timescales and requirements, talk to us to find out whether what you need is possible.
